Fines, Happy Bucks and Confessions:
• Mark had a happy buck for today’s lunch, saying the Shepherd’s Pie was “awesome.”
• Leslie was very happy to share that Juliana will be graduating from Binghamton in a couple weeks.  She has been inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and received an award for excellence in German.
• Eric visited Potsdam and saw Kyle sworn in as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army.
• Dave Read told us that his alma mater, Union College, is playing today in the first round of the NCAA Division III Lacrosse championships.  Also, Katie’s alma mater, Nazareth, defeated Ithaca last week and will play today in the first round of NCAA Division III Lacrosse championships against Union College.  It should be an interesting evening in the Read house tonight.
• Gene offered up happy bucks, happy to be back.  And we were all happy to have him and Shirley back with us.
• Bob Sloan has been selling US flags for scouts.  While they were up at the lake, they ran into Larry Williamson and a few Rotarians, and met Sue Bassage.
• Kim attended a reunion last weekend of the Cortland men’s and women’s rugby club.  Many of the current players enjoyed having their pictures taken with “Grandma Rugby.”
• Bob Yost was able to enjoy beverages with Sparky while Kim was in Cortland.

Singing:
Kim debuted the new Pal-Mac Rotary Songbooks today, and we all sang “Ro-Ro-Rotary”

Notes and Updates for the Club:
-   Rotary night at the Red Wings is August 1.  Rochester hosts Syracuse that evening.  See Bill Dean for more details, or visit the district website.

-   The Interact club is hosting a blood drive at the high school on May 22.  If you’ve been thinking of donating blood, that would be a good time to do so.

-  There are shifts still available for RL Concessions at the Hill Cumorah Pageant.  Kim has the sign-up sheets available at every meeting, or contact her directly to get signed up.

-   Eric Chapman is testing the waters to see if club members might be interested in having a Rotary day at the Bills game, September 20.  The Bills will be hosting the Patriots.  If you would be interested in making the outing, please contact Eric.

-   The Camp Onseyawa golf tournament will be June 20 at Silver Creek Golf Course in Waterloo.  This annual event helps support our area’s camp for kids with special needs.  Entry fee is $400 per foursome, which includes greens fees and cart, lunch, dinner, and prizes.  Also available are Greens and Hole Sponsorships.  If interested, please see Bob Sloan for an entry form.

-   The club committee list for 2015-2016 has been emailed to all members.  Please contact Mark with any comments/concerns.  If you did not receive the list, it is available on the club website under “News>Club Bulletins” or click here to download the file.

Congratulations to Eric Chapman.  He won $12 in this week’s 50/50 drawing.
