Fines, Happy Bucks, Confessions:
• Cortney tells us that her baby wouldn’t hold still long enough to get a clear ultrasound, so she still doesn’t know whether it’s a boy or a girl.  Also, she is moving out of her apartment and into a house.
• Dave Pray had a happy buck for his daughter Betsy, who will be interning with Norma Holland at channel 13.
• Leslie is looking forward to Julianna being home for two weeks before heading off to her summer job at Walt Disney World.
• Arnie is happy to say that 24Hour Helping Hands needs help – a sign of success.  Also, he spent some time in Florida recently.
•Peter had several happy bucks.  First, he’s happy to be back.  He now has an office in the city, and things are going well there.  Finally, he witnessed an accident on his way to work this morning.  A car in front of him knocked down a power pole, which did not hit Peter’s car.  It did knock out the power in Macedon for a while.  The driver appeared not to have been injured.
• Dave Read announce that his daughter Karen just earned her M.B.A. from Nazareth College.
• Mark had happy bucks for Kim and Anne painting at the Fair Booth, on Mother’s Day, no less!
• Bob Sloan had happy bucks for his healthy family, good business, and for Mila’s speech at the District Conference.
• Gene says he’s glad to be back and he’s happy with the Yankees.
• Bob Ike reminded us the school district budget vote is Tuesday, May 21.
• Pam is happy to announce that one of our members, Dick Kirchhoff, will be honored with the Dixie Prittie award by the Palmyra Community Library.

Notes and Updates for the Club:
- The Camp Onseyawa golf tournament takes place June 1.  Cost is $85 per person.  Contact Bob Sloan to arrange for your foursome.  Also available are green and hole sponsorships; cost to sponsor is $250 and $100, respectively.  Again, Bob Sloan is the man to see.
- A reminder that there will be no lunch meeting on Wednesday, May 22.  Instead, we will be holding our meeting Thursday evening, May 23 at 6pm.  Our guests that evening will be the GSE team from Sweden/Latvia.
- Our club change-over picnic will be Wednesday, June 26 at Gravino Park in Macedon.  More details will be announced as we get closer, and a sign-up sheet will be passed.
- The district change-over dinner takes place 5:30pm Monday, July 1 at Ventosa Vineyards in Geneva.  The cost for dinner is $45.  Further information and registration are available on the district website, http://www.clubrunner.ca/portal/home.aspx?did=7120
- Kim Clement is accepting sign-ups to man the Fair Booth for the Gus Macker tournament June 14-16.  Also, sign-up sheets for the Hill Cumorah concessions are being passed.  Each member is asked to fill 4 shifts at the hill this year, if humanly possible.  Remember that you can fill shifts with family members and friends.

Pam Dean won $11 in today’s 50/50 drawing.

State Assemblyman Bob Oaks was our featured guest today.  He brought us information on the results of the 2010 US Census in Wayne County.  Wayne County grew by 7 people from 2000 to 2010.  There was a decrease in persons under the age of 18, while those 19-24 saw a significant increase.  The 25-44 age group decreased by 20%.  Nationwide, the trend is towards a more urban society.  As Wayne County is mostly rural and suburban, this trend is reflected in our stagnant population shift.  The assemblyman urges us to help find ways to attract young people to our County and encourage them to stay.  Pictured above (l-r) are Club President Dianne Sloan, State Assemblyman Robert Oaks, Gene Bassage, and Dill Dean.
