Fines, Happy Bucks, Confessions:
• Tom Brighton went to church here in Palmyra over the weekend and got to see the Searles say goodbye to their grandson, who was visiting before embarking on his 2 year mission to the Baltics.
• Bob Sloan was recently showing a house, and the folks asked about Joey.  So he chatted with her on Facebook later and told how much she is missed.
• Eric traveled to Potsdam for Kyle’s ROTC dinner and to the University of Vermont with Kari, who has decided to attend there.
• Nancy has a new great-niece, Josslyn.
• So does Cheryl!
• Anne was visiting Boston during the big snow; got to spend a little extra time.
• Cortney tells us her pregnancy is progressing well.
• Dick confessed to some travel by his dinner badge.
• Richard had a happy buck for Tom Brighton’s sister, who is going to Tokyo for 2 years on mission.
• Dianne went camping with the scouts to Babcock Hovey.  She mentioned that this time of year, they camp indoors.
• Kim went ice fishing for the first time in about 2 years, and caught the biggest fish!

Notes and Updates for the Club:

Mark and Kim brought pamphlets and a sign-up sheet, encouraging each of us to approach a Wayne County business about donating to the Fair Booth fundraiser.  Coincidentally Nancy’s guest, Megan DeTaeye from Garlock was here to present a check for $1,000 toward that very fundraiser.  Thank you Garlock!

Our regular club meeting on March 13 will be an evening meeting, 6pm at the American Legion in Palmyra.

The Sodus Rotary Club would like you to know about an upcoming fundraiser concert featuring Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out.  The Bluegrass performers appear at the Sodus Central School Auditorium March 23.  Tickets are $20 and available at the Sodus Rotary website: http://www.sodusrotary.org/events/

March is Literacy Month.  Our club is assembling “Reading Adventure” packs, to be distributed to students in the Pal-Mac School District.  Please contact Pam Dean for further info.

The GSE team from Switzerland/Latvia will be visiting our club from May 23-27.  Since the team will only be with us from Thursday through Monday, we are moving our meeting that week to Thursday evening.

Mila won $11 from this week’s 50/50 drawing.
