Today's Program:
Sofia was all set to present "Spain, Part 2", but the electronic gizmo that projects images and other cool stuff suffered a meltdown, so we opted for "Plan B" as in "Bob" Sloan, who gave a very thorough rundown on all things Camp ONSEYAWA.
Lots of good info, especially for newer members, but a great review of the history of the camp and how it's run, how the 23 clubs behind it supply manpower, volunteers, counselors, (well, the Board does a lot of this) - campers' ages (8-16), fundraising changes and goals for this year ($24,000+), and even the older members learned something from his summary.
In a nutshell, you'll find excellent information on the "New & Improved Website" - ONSEYAWA.org. We're proud of (and grateful for) Bob's enthusiastic leadership and drive on behalf of this life-changing camp for kids with special needs.
