Longtime Rotarian and library volunteer Dick Kirchhoff was honored with the dedication of the program room in his name. This room, the Dick Kirchhoff Program Room, will serve the community in many forms for years to come. Congratulations, Dick!

Next, Rotarian Gary Haigh took the stage to present the Paul Harris award to Ron Oates, who has also been a pivotal person in the completion of the new Palmyra Library and important, steadfast community volunteer. The Paul Harris award is the highest award and honor a Rotary club can give. Along with the award, $1,000 is also donated to The Rotary Foundation in Ron's name. This money will be used to provide things such as clean water, medical care, and education throughout the entire world. Congratulations, Ron!
