Fines, Happy Bucks, Confessions:
• Cortney got a new puppy, named Banjo, and had another happy buck for Father’s Day.
• Bill Dean is happy to see the club’s 501(c)3 organization coming along.
• Bob Yost’s son Matt has moved to his new digs, in the civilian world.
• Eric Chapman and family travelled to Burlington, VT for college orientation.
• Gene informed us that the Yankees got rained out last night and will play a day-night double-header today.  Also the Miami Heat squeaked out a win last night, keeping their playoff hopes alive.
• Our guest, Karen, pitched in a buck for her daughter, who celebrated her 21st birthday at the Atlanta airport, where she was stuck between flights.
• Dianne confessed to a wandering dog, who had gotten free while she and Bob were out.  Before they could begin the search party, Jim Breen called to report their dog had been found – in the deli at Breen’s.  Also, this was Dianne’s last regular Rotary meeting as President.

Notes and Updates for the Club:
- The following club members are fined $2 for failing to sign Tom Brighton’s “ABC’s of Rotary” book:
Vicky Daly, Bill Dean, John Denniston, Chase Ellsworth, Gary Haigh, Gary Hopkins, Jeff Johncox, Debbie LeMoyne, Anne Morrell, Peter Park, Cindy Surline, Leslie Vecciotti.

- The club change-over picnic is scheduled for 5:30pm, Wednesday, June 26 at Gravino Park in Macedon.  A sign-up sheet has being passed.  This is always a fun event; and as a bonus, Mila will be presenting her speech from the District Conference.  It has been suggested that those who purchased Poland items at last week’s assembly may want to wear those items to the picnic.

- The district change-over dinner takes place 5:30pm Monday, July 1 at Ventosa Vineyards in Geneva.  The cost for dinner is $45.  Further information and registration are available on the district website, http://www.clubrunner.ca/portal/home.aspx?did=7120

Dan Wasserlauf asked to speak for a moment about a project he and his family are undertaking.  They are collecting dress-clothes for Rotary Camp Onseyawa.  The campers have a formal dance each summer, but many do not own their own dress-clothes; their only option is to wear clothes that don’t fit or in some cases, boys have worn dresses.  The Wasserlaufs are seeking dress clothes for boys and girls, ages 8-16 in varying sizes.  If you have any clothing you could donate, there is a drop-box at the American Legion in Palmyra.  Clothes will be collected through July 31.

Vicky Daly introduced to us Jamone Turner, Deputy Director of the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council.  In that capacity, he works with the representatives of the nine counties in the Finger Lakes region to enhance the economy and create jobs.  The Finger Lakes REDC was created by the Cuomo administration in 2011, one of 10 regional councils in the state.  These councils work to help distribute resources available from various state agencies, including the Canal Corp, DEC, NYSERDA, and others.  By establishing the REDC’s, people looking to obtain grants now have a single office to work with in applying.  Also, the REDC’s help to publicize the availability of these resources.  Mr. Turner encourages you to visit the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council’s website at esd.ny.gov/fingerlakes.html
