Fines, Happy Bucks, Confessions:
• Peter’s son celebrated his 9th birthday last weekend.
• Dick was signed up to water the urns at the cemetery last weekend, but got rained out.  Easiest project he’s had in a long time.
• Kim is happy because her son and grand-daughter will be up next week.
• Eric C was in New York City last week.
• Bob Sloan had a happy buck in honor of 17 years together with Dianne; also he went with his son’s scout den to the USS Sullivan.
• Richard and Wynette hosted 4 of their grandchildren last week.
• Nancy’s grandson and daughter were home, so that’s a happy buck.  Not so happy though – her mother broke her leg.
• Anne’s grandson was in town with his dad.
• Cortney had a girls’ weekend with Ava while Terry was away.  Still no idea whether her baby is a boy or girl.
• Mark is also happy about the visit from his son and grand-daughter.
• Peter also wanted to mention how nice it was to be a part of Rotary Reads this year.  The kids in the class he’s been reading to asked him to sign their yearbooks.
• Dianne tells us that Rory was chosen to take part in a math tournament at school, and came in 3rd.

Notes and Updates for the Club:
- The following club members are fined $2 for failing to sign Tom Brighton’s “ABC’s of Rotary” book:
Vicky Daly, Bill Dean, John Denniston, Chase Ellsworth, Gary Haigh, Gary Hopkins, Jeff Johncox, Debbie LeMoyne, Anne Morrell, Peter Park, Cindy Surline, Leslie Vecciotti.

- The club change-over picnic is scheduled for 5:30pm, Wednesday, June 26 at Gravino Park in Macedon.  A sign-up sheet has being passed.  This is always a fun event; and as a bonus, Mila will be presenting her speech from the District Conference.  It has been suggested that those who purchased Poland items at last week’s assembly may want to wear those items to the picnic.

- The district change-over dinner takes place 5:30pm Monday, July 1 at Ventosa Vineyards in Geneva.  The cost for dinner is $45.  Further information and registration are available on the district website, http://www.clubrunner.ca/portal/home.aspx?did=7120

Our own Kim Clement took the featured speaker position today, and went over some details about the Hill Cumorah Pageant’s RL Concessions operations.  With turnover in the clubs that work at the Hill, the board of RL Concessions thought it would be good to go over the various jobs with club members.  Kim provided a good deal of information about each of the job assignments, and we all learned a thing or two.  The official Job Descriptions and Manager’s Checklist are now available on our website.  (It may seem strange, but they are posted under News > Club Bulletins.  Or just click on the links below.)

Shirley won this week’s 50/50 drawing.
