Fines, Happy Bucks and Confessions:
• Leslie had a happy buck.  She went to Eastview Saturday where she ran into Gary and Norma, who were accompanied by an Australian district governor to be.
• Tom Breen confessed to having his picture in the times, but added a happy buck since the picture was not in the “Law and Order” section. 
• Nancy had a happy buck for the Packers’ win; also her grandson is six years old today.
• Mark also confessed to being in the paper, Anne had a happy buck for the Packers’ win.
• Bob Sloan bought a youth model shotgun for Rory.  They went out over the weekend and Murray got a rabbit.
• Andy was happy to have heat and power after it went off early this morning.
 
Notes and Updates for the Club:
- The annual Wayne County Rotary Spelling Bee will be Saturday, February 7 at the Wayne Central Performing Arts Center in Ontario Center.  Our club is sponsoring the PM Interact team again this year in the youth division, and Pat VerPlank is once again sponsoring our club’s adult team.
- The District Conference this year will be at the Buffalo Hyatt, May 15 through 17.  More information to come.
- Our club’s Foundation fundraiser Dessert Auction is Wednesday, Feb 11 at Parkwood Heights.  This annual event helps us raise money to benefit the Rotary Foundation, and gives us a chance to gather for some sweet goods and fellowship.
- Our annual Rotary Foundation dessert fundraiser will take place at 6:00 PM Wednesday, February 11 upstairs at Parkwood Heights.  A sign-up sheet will be passed around.
 
We were joined today by our club-sponsored contestants for the District Vocal Contest, Shelby Hutton(L) and Tallis Polashenski(R).
Lois Fiegl accompanied them on piano, while our own Bob Ike turned pages.  The young ladies sang (beautifully) the pieces that they performed in the competition at Roberts Wesleyan College.  And Tallis won this week’s 50/50 drawing!
