Dictionaries and Thesauruses: What Does That Mean?

As we have done for many years, the Palmyra-Macedon Rotary Club distributed a new dictionary to every 3rd grader in the district this past month. We also gave a new thesaurus to every 4th grader, an addition to this literacy project that was started just last year. It's a great way for kids to get excited about reading and learning. These books are used by many of the students up through their college years. The Rotary members who visit the school are also able to tell every student about Rotary, and that we help people not only locally in our community but all around the world also!
