Exchange Student Update:

Fritzi is here visiting, and stopped in to see her favorite Rotary club in the whole Palmyra-Macedon area.  She says she still has to do senior year at her school.  After that, she’ll be off to college (probably medicine), though she is still undecided whether that will be here in the States or in Germany.  Either way, she was very happy to see all of us and her many friends and families here during this visit.

Fines, Happy Bucks, Confessions:

- Bill Dean had a happy buck for the Red Wings Rotary Night and for Tom and Tom’s brother Marty, who were also there.
- Mark was happy to see the Fair over; he finally gets his wife back.
- Cindy gave us a buck, saying it was nice to be back at a meeting again.
- Anne announced that she and Dave will be in charge of the concession stand as members of the Gridiron Club, which is the booster club for Pal-Mac Football.
- Bob Sloan offered thanks to those who stepped in at the last minute and helped with the youth football Charity Bowl.
- Joan confessed to a trip to Pittsburgh the week before the Fair and, thanks to Eric, will be at the Bills/Steelers game Saturday night.
- Jim Bush did not travel, but he admitted that his dinner badge did.
- Pam happy-bucked in thanks to the volunteers who helped out at the Blood Drive.  She says the Red Cross collected 30 units.

Notes and Updates for the Club:
• This year our Fair Booth sales were up every day, compared to last year.  This was our highest-grossing year ever.
• District Golf Tournament is coming up on September 14th.  For info or to register, please contact Eric.
• Rotary Leadership Institute will be held November 3rd at the Canandaigua Inn on the Lake.
• The annual Canaltown Days drawing is coming soon.  Deb LeMoyne has tickets and is distributing them to members.  Each member is responsible for selling 10 books of tickets.  Of course, you can sell more than that!  If you need more tickets, or haven’t received your first shot, please contact Deb.

Wynette Searle won $10 in this week’s 50/50 drawing.  She donated her winnings to Polio Plus.
