Notes and Updates for the Club:
-   Rotary night at the Red Wings is August 1.  Rochester hosts Syracuse that evening.  See Bill Dean for more details, or visit the district website.

-   The Interact club is hosting a blood drive at the high school on May 22.  If you’ve been thinking of donating blood, that would be a good time to do so.

-   Eric Chapman is testing the waters to see if club members might be interested in having a Rotary day at the Bills game, September 20.  The Bills will be hosting the Patriots.  If you would be interested in making the outing, please contact Eric.

-   The Camp Onseyawa golf tournament will be June 20 at Silver Creek Golf Course in Waterloo.  This annual event helps support our area’s camp for kids with special needs.  Entry fee is $400 per foursome, which includes greens fees and cart, lunch, dinner, and prizes.  Also available are Greens and Hole Sponsorships.  If interested, please see Bob Sloan for an entry form.

Our club made contributions today to the local food pantries, in the amount of $600 each.  Accepting for the Palmyra-Macedon Food Pantry was Dave Nagle.  Lucille Hamlin accepted on behalf of the Macedon Food Pantry.

This month’s assembly auction raised $22 for Polio Plus.  So far this Rotary year, which began July 1, our auctions have raised $186 for the Foundation and $176 for Polio Plus.  Thank you to all who have donated and bid.  This month’s items were donated by Margaret Brooks and Leslie Vecchiotti.  Cheryl Ford, Anne Morrell, and Gary Hopkins were the winning bidders.

The exempt button for May goes to Margaret Brooks, and this week’s 50/50 winner was Cheryl Ford.
