Annual Joint Rotary/Lions dinner

The Palmyra-Macedon Rotary and Lions clubs met on April 14th in Macedon for our annual Joint Rotary/Lions dinner. This is an opportunity for our two service clubs to spend time speaking with not only old friends, but meeting new friends as well. The members of both clubs take pride in the positive impact we make within our own community and beyond.

Lions Past District Governor Dick Ernst presented Lion Rena Haigh with the District Family Growth award; the award was given last year and was from then International President Syd Scruggs III of South Carolina.

Pal-Mac Rotary President Eric Chapman put together a great program and invited Sal Maiorana - Democrat & Chronicle sports writer for the Buffalo Bills - to be the key speaker. Sal's indepth knowledge of the NFL and all things local sports made for a realy interesting Q&A session. He gave insight into the coming year for the Bills, along with Syracuse basketball, Yankees baseball, and much more! Rotarians and Lions alike enjoyed the program.
