Our club was treated to a tour of the new Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Health and Wellness Center. The center "supports the health and fitness needs of the community by providing a high-quality facility, professional staff, and programs in a unique, supportive environment." Our tour took us through their child care center, multiple exercise class rooms, heated and lap pools, locker rooms with private showers, therapy room, weight room, and meeting spaces. Many of the rooms are available for rent. The center is also situated on 16 acres of open land with a walking path and water fountain features.
