John Hurley attended the District Conference and, once again, accepted literacy awards on behalf of Loves Park Rotary. We received an award for Club Achievement and Sustained Excellence, which John explained is not awarded just for being involved every year. Clubs are expected to “tweak” their participation. For example, we have added donations to more schools to the dictionary project and we have also donated Spanish language dictionaries. Thank you, John, for all you do and congratulations to all who helped our club win these awards.
