President Andrew Reynolds introduced Harlem High School Student of the Month, Katherine “Kate” Leeson.  Her parents, Diane & Chris Leeson, were here with her as were two of her counselors.  Kate ranks 3rd in her class of 476 students, with a 4.71 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, Spanish Club and Model United Nations and, because she loves helping people, she's also a Peer Tutor.  She played club soccer for three years and has been active in soccer at school for four years, the last three on the varsity team.  In the community, Kate has volunteered the last four years in Special Olympics and the Greenwich Village Art Fair.  She also likes to volunteer with Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful.  She hasn't decided where to attend college but plans on studying Biochemistry.  Congratulations, Kate, on being named Loves Park Rotary Student of the Month.
