Jane Burden & Craig Anderson talk about preplanning funerals

Craig Anderson introduced one of his co-workers at Fred C. Olson funeral home, Jane Burden.  Jane is married to Loves Park city clerk, Bob Burden, and is active on the boards of many local organizations such as the North Suburban Library District and the Swedish Historical Society, just to name a couple.  She was also presented with the Rotary Service Above Self award in 2013 by Mayor Lindberg.  Jane and Craig talked to the group about the “top ten reasons to preplan” and how that should be considered an integral part of good estate planning for any family.  Besides helping the family to avoid overpaying at a bad time when they might be more vulnerable, a lot of difficult decisions can be made at a time when people are able to think more clearly and rationally.  Thank you Jane and Craig, for sharing with us about a difficult-to-talk-about topic.
