One of our areas of focus for local giving is early childhood development.- Our Preschool Scholarship Endowment Fund provides grants to assist with the cost of preschool education for 3- and 4-year-olds in Midland County.
- We sponsor an annual Claire's Day celebration to recognize educators and second grade students in Midland County for reading achievement (pictured left.)
- We earmark a portion of our local grants budget for projects that contribute to advancing early childhood development in our surrounding communities.
An important part of our mission as Rotarians is raising the funds to support our local and international grants and service projects.
One of Rotary International's seven Areas of Focus is protecting the environment. The Rotary Club of Midland Morning supports this focus by participating in annual Earth Day cleanup projects. In recent years, our District, 6310, has challenged Clubs to complete projects that benefit the Great Lakes Bay watershed. We have responded by:
