For many years, the Frankenmuth Rotary Club has been responsible for picking up trash along two miles of M-83. Three times a year, a team of 25 Rotarians hit the road and see to it that the roadsides are litter-free. That may mean picking up old tires, empty bottles, a discarded piece of furniture, and on a rare occasion even money! Annually, nearly 100 hours of volunteer time are dedicated to this project.
