A recently new member to the Rotary of New London, Chuck Vanderloop began a 501c(3) nonprofit called Produce Good Fruit, (PGF) serving some certain mountain communities in Haiti. The website is producegoodfruit.org. He is semi retired and has been going to Haiti since 2013.
The title for his PowerPoint is "A Project in Haiti", a simple title so many needs. Work is being done by building roads, building a school, building cisterns to collect rain water and setting up fruit tree nurseries. Chuck's life experience is 20 years in commercial painting, 10 years greenhouse business and 10 years as a registered nurse.
Come join us for this interesting program and learn about Chuck's passion and heart for his work in Haiti. Haiti is a place our club is familiar with from the days of John Wiley and our participation in the Wells Project and Solar Ovens in Haiti.
