Ascend Patio Project-Ribbon Cutting

Our Pillars- Ascend Patio Project is finished!!!!!!!!

The young adults who reside at Ascend will have a group gathering on May 17 and we are invited to a ribbon cutting/grand opening of the patio at 5:00 pm. We hope you will stop by to see the completed project, even if you can't stay long enough to enjoy a delicious s'more. They are super excited about their new outdoor area and can't wait to begin using it. I know they'd appreciate an opportunity to say thank you to our members. (Feel free to bring family along if you are picking them up from practice, heading out for dinner, or whatever.)

This project was funded mostly by a $3,000 grant to our club from Rotary District 6270. A little more cash from our club's community outreach budget and a lot of 'sweat equity' from a dedicated group of Rotarians (plus one Ascend resident too) took are of the rest of it.
