Dinner at Joey's, Wednesday, June 16th, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. NOTE: There will not be a luncheon meeting on this day!

Guests: Our guests today were Jean Jacobsen from the morning Penticton Okanagan Club, Jane and Dennis Robzell from the Red Deer Downtown Club, Amaya Black, our exchange student back from Thailand and Lori Motluk's husband Bill..
Birthday: Bob Gibbs.
Pres. Cal,chairing his first meeting of the new Rotary year, was also the speaker today. He spoke about Challenge BC. Rotary will again be looking after the #7 Aid Station on Sunday, August 24th. To volunteer this year,you need to register on-line at www.challenge-pentcton.com. There are five time slots and a training session for new volunteers. Cal gave time to allow members to sign-up on the computers available at the meeting.
Draw: The draw today was for over $500. The winning ticket belonged to me (Linda Metcalfe, who had to leave early so my fellow Rotarian Linda Chabot looked out for my ticket) but she did not draw the joker from the deck.
