We have another option for our 3rd Thursday small groups. It is a volunteering opportunity at the Rochester Public Library. When the Post-Bulletin moved to their new location, they gifted the library with their archive. The Library is working to digitize it. Volunteer tasks include cutting/dating/filing clippings and putting negatives into plastic sleeves. No technical skills required.
If we have volunteers interested, this will be an ongoing opportunity on 3rd Thursdays.
Meet in Meeting Room B at the Library anytime between 11:30 am - 1 pm on November 17th. There will be library staff there to show you what needs to be done. Feel free to bring your lunch.
