August 5 Rotary After Hours meeting:
Join your fellow Rotarians at the August 5th Rotary After Hours meeting of our club as we attend Thursdays Downtown.

Meet at the southwest corner of the Rochester Public Library(2nd Street and 1st Avenue SW) at 5:30 pm and we'll venture over together to Rochester's Thursday night hot spot for food and entertainment.  Free parking is available at the Civic Center ramp. Be sure to bring along your friends and family!
Become a 2021 Rotary Holiday Classic sponsor / advertiser
We're less than five months away from tip-off of the 2021 edition of the Rotary Holiday Classic.  That means our campaign to recruit sponsors and advertisers to help underwrite the event is underway.  If you or your business have supported the Holiday Classic in past years, you likely received an email from co-chair Tamsen Leimer this week. We hope you'll consider supporting the Classic again this year.

If your business or your employer is new to the Holiday Classic, information for sponsorships and program advertisements is available on the Holiday Classic website. The Rotary Clubs of Rochester have given more than $1 million over 30 years to youth-related non-profit organizations in the area. Help keep the momentum going by joining the 2021 Holiday Classic sponsors and advertisers club!

The success of the Holiday Classic is based on many components - high school basketball players and their coaches, fans in the stands who pay to watch the games, favorable winter weather, Rotary volunteers, and last but not least, the Classic's advertisers and sponsors. Without all of these components, the Classic wouldn't exist, but it's our advertisers and sponsors who commit thousands of dollars in funding that underwrite the expenses an event such as the Classic generates.

We are fortunate to once again have Mayo Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine as our "presented by" sponsor for December's Classic. This team of specialists focuses not only on sports-related injuries but offers a wealth of health and well-being information which is applicable to most everyone.  A link to a variety of articles is posted on the Holiday Classic website from our "presented by" sponsor. Take a few minutes and take a look!
