On Thursday, April 28, The Rotary Club of Rochester will hold a traditional mid-day meeting beginning at noon at the Even Hotel, 101 11th AVE SW, Rochester.

Registration: Register by noon on Tuesday, April 26 to purchase lunch for $20. Lunch can also be purchased for $25 the day of the meeting. You are also welcome to attend the meeting without purchasing lunch, but still register so the room can be set for the appropriate number of people planning to attend. If you decide to attend at the last minute, no worries, you're still more than welcome to attend the meeting.

Join the Rotary Clubs of St. Paul Sunrise, Minneapolis City of Lakes, and Roseville on Thursday, April 28th from 7:15am - 9:15am, at the Women’s Club of Minneapolis for the16th Annual Forum, Perspectives: Creating a Safe and Just Community Together. The first Thursday of the month is designated as a time for TRCR committee meetings to convene. To encourage members to participate in club committees, committees can meet during the club's originally scheduled meeting time saving members from finding another time to meet.
What if I'm not on a committee? You are welcome to come to the Even Hotel, eat lunch, and socialize. If you plan to eat lunch, register by noon the Tuesday prior to the meeting - see the Rotary online calendar for registration links. If you're not a member of a committee and are interested in joining one, let Amber or one of the club's board members know, and they'll find a committee that fits your interests.
For the past several years, the Rotary Clubs of Rochester have hosted an ethics program for area high school students. After a hiatus from the program because of the pandemic, the Ethics Program was back for the 2021-22 school year. Take a few minutes to watch a testimonial video by one of the program participants.

The Rochester Rotary Clubs are sponsoring a male foreign exchange student, Ruben, from Spain to attend Mayo High School during the 2022-23 school year. During the school year, three families within the same high school attendance area (or able to provide transport if outside the area) are needed to host the student from mid-August – early June (approximately August-November, December-March, March-June). The exchange student does not require their own room, as they can share a room with a host sibling of the same gender as long as they have their own bed. A proper place to study is also needed and they are required to attend school. In response to the deepening humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, Rotary International has created an official channel for contributions to support the relief efforts underway by Rotary districts.
As a member of the Rotary Club of Rochester, there are three "To Do List" items to sign-up for the second and fourth Thursday meeting from now until the end of the year.

Did you know that if you buy the majority of your gas at Kwik Trip, you could pre-pay for your gas AND help the club at the same time? A $100 Kwik Trip card immediately creates $5 for the club and any in-store purchases creates another 5% donation.If you would like to purchase Scrip cards, send an email to romnrotary@gmail.com with how many and what denomination you'd like. In additional to Kwik Trip, Scrip cards are also available to Apollo Liquor and Menards. The cards are purchased at face value, but the club receives 5% back from Apollo Liquor and Kwik Trip and 4% back from Menards. The club receives an additional 5% on purchases at Kwik Trip, other than gas, inside the store.
