Join the clean-up crew at White Oaks Park on June 19
A small group of Rotary Club of Rochester members regularly clean White Oaks Park on the third Wednesday of each month during the warmer months, usually beginning at 6:00 p.m. for less than an hour.

Why not join? A bucket or plastic garbage bag, gloves and good shoes is all that's needed for the clean-up. There is a sign in the park stating that the park has been adopted by our club. If you would like to help keep the park clean and be outdoors, come the next third Wednesday of the month.

Welcome to our newest member Vincent Browne
In his own words . . .
Throughout my life, I have embarked on diverse journeys driven by both personal ambition and a deep sense of responsibility to my community. Born to an English mother who sought the English flag for my birth, I spent my formative years in the Republic of Ireland before venturing across the Atlantic to British Columbia, Canada, in pursuit of adventure. Despite my background in architectural design apprenticeship, I momentarily diverted into the mining industry, albeit briefly, recognizing the perilous nature of asbestos and swiftly pivoting towards safer pursuits.

The next Jeremiah Cook4Kids is Tuesday, May 21 - sign-up now!
The Jeremiah Program is grateful to have members of The Rotary Club of Rochester help bring families from poverty to prosperity two generations at a time. Cook 4 Kids is an integral part of Jeremiah families’ week – a chance for them to enjoy a meal they don’t have to prepare, witness the generosity of others firsthand, build relationships and comradery with other families, and gain more from the fifth pillar of the Jeremiah program – “Supportive Community.”  Our club's next Cook 4 Kids meal is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21 from 4:15-6:30 p.m. Thank you for volunteering TRCR members!

Rotary Youth Exchange - looking for host families

Experience the World – Without Leaving Home

Host an exchange student for few months next school year!

The Rochester Rotary Clubs are sponsoring a female foreign exchange student, Luca-Marie, from Germany to attend Mayo High School during the 2024-25 school year.  During the school year, three families within the same high school attendance area are needed to host the student from mid-August – early June (approx. August-November, December-March, March-June). We are currently looking for host families for mid-August through November and mid-March through June. The exchange student benefits by experiencing the different ways in which each family lives and builds relationships with a variety of people.

Nominate a deserving individual for a Paul Harris Fellow
Through the years, The Rotary Club of Rochester has accumulated "points" which can be converted to Paul Harris Fellows. The points total continues to grow so the TRCR Board decided now is as good a time as any to share the spirit of Rotary and the honor of awarding Paul Harris Fellows to deserving members of our community.  Nominees can be a Rotarian but do not have to be as a nominee can be anyone in the community.

May is Youth Service Month
May is Rotary’s Youth Service Month! Throughout the month, Rotarians, Rotaractors, and younger members of the Rotary family, including Interactors and RYLA and Rotary Youth Exchange participants, celebrate the service, leadership development, connections, and FUN of Rotary’s programs for young leaders.

Every year, over 350,000 young leaders participate in Rotary’s youth programs across Interact, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and Rotary Youth Exchange. Rotary’s Youth Service Month is an opportunity to promote our young leaders’ local and global impacts and the Rotary and Rotaract clubs that make these programs possible.
