The event menu theme, "All Around the World" was inspired by different countries and cuisines of the world. Rotarians from all 3 Clubs were broadly represented that night.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Nandan Anavekar talked about ”’How volunteering at GSHC made a life-fulfilling difference.“ He eloquently described how his greatest
journey towards a ‘successful’ contribution in life thus far has been the inward
journey of self-discovery as a student in human philosophy, engagement, and
service, of which The Good Sam has been his greatest teacher. He reminded
each of us that the effort to ‘doing the most good’ while respecting all as part of a
complex and interdependent human family is worthy of investment – restoring
hope, trust, and spirit for all who were gathered in that warm and intimate space.
