This event has been postponed by the City of Rochester based on COVID-19 response guidelines.

Rotarians, along with friends and family, are invited to join this community event. The more volunteers the merrier and the quicker the planting. Volunteers will gather at 4 pm in the small parking lot by Bear Creek Park pavilion.

This event continues work on a goal set by 2018 RI President Ian Riseley for clubs to focus on the environment.Please support the Rotary Tree Planting Challenge in one or both of the following ways.

  • Volunteer
    30 volunteers are desired to dig holes and plant trees.
  • Donations
    The Rotary Clubs of Rochester are a major sponsor for this event. We hope to raise donations to cover a share of the tree cost. You are invited to contribute whatever you can. The Rotary Club of Rochester Foundation will be the repository for the charitable donations. Please send your donation to TRCR at P.O. Box 7566, Rochester, MN 55903-7566 or make an online donation here. Please submit your donations by May 1st.
