Rotary Midday Meeting

The club has reserved and must pay for 24 boxed lunches. If you plan to attend this meeting in person and would like a guaranteed lunch, please register. If you can't join us in person, please do join us online. An invitation to participate via Zoom will be sent on Thursday morning to those on our regular communications list. 

Time:  11:30 am, social time and buffet lunch; 12 pm, meeting; 12:30 program

Program:  "Rochester Curling Club," presenter by Marty Walsh, Chair of the Curling Club of Rochester Capital Campaign Committee and a CCR Board Member. "The Curling Club of Rochester is a 501(c)3 social and athletic club that has been bringing the Olympic sport of Curling to Rochester since 2017. The Clubs nearly 120 members curl at the North Rink of the Rochester Rec Center, as well as on outdoor ice at Little Thistle Brewing during winter months. The Club is seeking to build a dedicated ice facility that will allow the club to grow significantly and add even more to the culture of Rochester. The club estimates well over 1,000 people have been on the ice in the last two years despite the very limited available ice time."
