Global warming and our dependence on fossil fuels are increasingly contributing to a less stable world. The U.S. Pentagon considers climate change a “threat multiplier” that will require more frequent military interventions to respond to natural disasters and the ensuing disorder and chaos. What can be done to correct the market failure that leads to the over-production of greenhouse gases? This presentation will discuss a market-based response to global warming that reduces greenhouse gases, saves lives, increases national GDP and adds jobs to the economy.
