Rotary Camp Enterprise 2015 will kick off Thursday, Nov. 5, and run through Saturday, Nov. 7, at YMCA Camp Ihduhapi, located west of the Twin Cities.

Camp Enterprise is an incredible opportunity for high school students to learn about the Free Enterprise System and for Rotarians to volunteer and take part in the education and fun! Sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of District 5950 and 5960, Camp Enterprise is an extensive three-day camp offering students the opportunity to participate in leadership activities focusing on the Free Enterprise System. Camp Enterprise provides High School Students with:

  • Face to Face Opportunity to Discuss Issues
  • An Insight to Business Concepts
  • Build Skills in the Art of Negotiation
  • Presentations on the Private Enterprise System
  • Develop Teamwork Skills
  • Challenging Team Games
  • Panel Discussions
  • Chance to Meet and Speak with Today's Business Leaders
  • Inspirational Speakers

Please encourage high school students in your area to attend this one-of-a-kind Rotary event! Clubs can find their own participants, work with teachers or counselors at local high schools to find candidates, or sponsor students who have already signed up.

If your club is interested in sponsoring students for Camp Enterprise, contact Sam Thompson of the Rotary Club of Edina at SThompson@calhouncompanies.com. Sam and his team will be reaching out to all District 5950 and 5960 clubs in the coming months about sponsorship opportunities.

Camp Enterprise is organized jointly by the Edina Morningside Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Edina. This year's Camp E director is Kip Peterson of the Rotary Club of Edina. For information on Camp E and volunteer opportunities, contact Kip at kpeterson@MesserliKramer.com.

Visit www.campenterprise.org for more information about Camp E, including a schedule of events, speakers, registration information, and FAQ for students. Registration for Camp E must be done online.

Whether sponsoring students as a Rotary club or volunteering your time and talent during camp, it is Rotarians like you that make Camp Enterprise a success year after year. Join us for this incredible experience!
