Honor Roll Scholarships

For over 40 years, the Rotary Club of Omaha has turned Honor Roll recognition into something that lasts beyond the luncheon: college scholarships for Omaha-area high school seniors.

Each year, the club awards a one-time $1,500 scholarship to six high school seniors who were 8th-grade Rotary Honor Roll recipients. Scholarships are based on excellence rather than need, and recipients can use them at the college or university of their choice.

What we look for

We select Honor Roll and scholarship students based on four qualities: leadership, character, scholarship, and presence. Every Honor Roll awardee already shows the kind of leadership and academic achievement Omaha Rotary scholars are known for.

Our hope for every student

We encourage every Honor Roll awardee to keep developing their talents, build a strong sense of self-worth, meet challenges with confidence, and understand the importance of meaningful service to others.
