Hey I miss everybody! Hopefully we all had a fabulous Christmas and New Years! It’s crazy to think we are in 2020! What??? Okay, enough with the marveling at how time flies and how the heck did I get so old. We had a lovely time this Wednesday just getting together to fellowship and talk about our fun holiday experiences with each other at the networking at Jams in the Old Market. Thank you to Kathy Estes for putting that together for us.
We had the opportunity to have a brief presentation from Greg Cutchall, the owner of Jams. As well as Domino’s, First Watch, Oklahoma Joe’s, River City Star, Sonic, Omaha Design Center and I’ve run out of space to mention the others. I actually asked him to stop opening restaurants because I kept going to them and I am busting out of my clothes…just saying. Aside from me making this about me, it was a very interesting talk Mr. Cutchall gave on Omaha and his businesses.
The food for our get together was exceptional and it was just fun to sit around and gab with each other. I love that, don’t you?
Well next week is the Outland Trophy luncheon and dinner. If you haven’t planned on attending I think you can still put your name in. I am going to represent us at Downtown Rotary so you may want to come and see how a person who knows absolutely nothing about Football does at an event like that… oh boy. Might be worth the ticket!
I’m looking forward to our regular Wednesday meetings and I hope you are too. The Lloyds have some very interesting presenters lined up for us in 2020.
If you haven’t been for a while…come see us. We miss you! God bless us in 2020!
