Recently, The Rotary Foundation Dist. Chair Bill Harvey recognized Lloyd Meyer as Paul Harris Fellow. Lloyd has been a dedicated Rotarian for 26 years and served as committee chair in several committees in the past. A true son of Nebraska, Lloyd Meyer was born in Beatrice, Nebraska. His father was from Fairbury and his mother was from Council Bluffs. Because his father was a manager of a department store and was transferred a number of times, he has lived in Crete, Ord, and York where he graduated from high school. Having worked from age seven with his grandfather, a carpenter, and his uncle, an architect, he knew he wanted to be an architect in the eighth grade. It became his passion and career.

President Aileen extended our Rotary Guest Day to March 30! Because of our huge success last week with several guests indicating interest to join Rotary, President Aileen has authorized to extend the Rotary Guest day. Invite your prospective members and have lunch with you at Field Club. Rotary will host prospective members lunches that day. Our March 30 speaker is UNO Chancellor Joanne Li.
