Passionate About Serving You

Over the years EHPV has expanded into a variety of markets and added an array of complimentary services to its portfolio. Today, EHPV is a company of more than 500 employees, all working towards one goal: to exceed customer expectations. Our employees bring unparalleled industry knowledge to the table supported by a talented leadership team with a wealth of experience that keeps us focused on our recipe for success.

Bill Harvey will speak about EHPV.  Bill Harvey is well known to all of you as a member of our Club, Past Club President, and Past Club and District Foundation Chair. Here are a few things you might not know about him:

Bill is a native Omahan. He graduated from Central High School and the UNO College of Business. He received his law degree from Creighton Law School, where he met his wife, Gretchen Heizer Harvey, clearly the best part of his educational experience. Bill has long been involved in vocal music and sang with the professional chorus of Opera Omaha for 25 seasons. Camille always has been and still is a way better singer. Bill dabbles in genealogy and recently completed a two-year term as the President of the International Fellowship of Rotarian Genealogists. If you want to know who’s your daddy, maybe Bill can help.

Recently, Bill was asked by Past Rotary International President Ian Riseley and the Trustees of the Rotary Foundation to serve for the next three years as the volunteer Endowment/Major Gift Advisor for Rotary Region 13 which covers 23 Rotary Districts from Thunder Bay, Ontario to Brownsville, Texas. Bill says he has no idea what they were thinking, but he’ll try not to embarrass the Club. Bill and Gretchen are the proud parents of two adult children, both married within the last year, and a small but rambunctious Goldendoodle named Cooper.
President Sean Connolly's Inaugural Meeting
July 12, 2022. In a full house of Rotarians, Past President John Sullivan inducted to office our new President Sean Connolly.  Sean is excited to assume the job of President of Omaha's premier service organization, the Omaha Downtown Rotary Club. Sean has been a Rotarian for nine years and has served as Scholarship Committee Chair and as an active member of the Rotary Board of Directors. Sean served as Chair of the Selection Committee that hired Yolanda Hoffman as Executive Director.

For Sean's full time job, he is an attorney focused on IP, technology transactions, security, and privacy. He currently runs his own law practice, Connolly IP.

Sean and his wife Melanie have two children: Devin (16) and Lydia (14).

Sean highlighted his priorities in the areas of Foundation giving, weekly programming, community service, and membership growth.

The Editor noted that there was no champagne or wine at President Sean Connolly's inaugural meeting but Rotarians showed up enthusiastic to hear what's in store this Rotary year

Along with President Sean Connolly, the following were inducted to office: President-Elect Larry Guenther, Secretary Gretchen Harvey, Treasurer Jim Stewart, Sgt at Arms Okley Gibbs and Directors: Immediate Past President Aileen Warren, Brett Frevert, Shayne Fili, Bev Carlson, Bob Keefer, Sandy Lemke, Adam Leong, Mitch Hunt, and Michelle Trawick.

Larry Johansen Achieved Major Donor at The Rotary Foundation
Recently, Larry Johansen was recognized by The Rotary Foundation (TRF) Chair Bill Harvey as Major Donor to TRF. A major donor is higher than Paul Harris Fellow +9. Larry was recognized last year for his devotion to Rotary principles as exemplified by his 400% Rotary attendance and engagement during Rotary year 2020-2021. That is equivalent to attending a Rotary meeting, attending a committee meeting or doing a Rotary service project four times a week. Larry's generosity to TRF for a total of $10,000 supports Rotary's worldwide areas of focus of Peace and Conflict Prevention / Resolution, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water and Sanitation, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy, Economic and Community Development, and Protecting the Environment.
