Recently, Jill Slupe introduced newest Rotarian Amy Tritsch. Amy works in the Office of Advancement at Midland University, starting in June of 2022 as the Major Gifts Officer, and now also works to build Strategic Partnerships for the University. Her husband is an electrical contractor, and is the second generation of leadership at Tritsch Electric. In 2023 Amy and her husband started a business,Tritsch Electrical Education, to provide continuing education courses and journeyman prep for electricians in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. Amy manages the business side, and Eddie teaches.

Prior to moving to Omaha in 2020, Amy was born and raised in the Sioux City Iowa area where she attended Morningside University. She has worked in the non-profit sector for the last 8 years, getting her start at Siouxland Habitat for Humanity, eventually moving to Boys & Girls Clubs and most recently in Omaha. She feels that her calling is to help people, which is what has led her to work at non-profits as well as serving as a volunteer firefighter for nearly 10 years, with her most recent service as an EMT and firefighter with the Waterloo Fire Department.

She has CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) which is the highest standard for a fundraising professional. She also serves on the board of the newly established non-profit Give Blue Hope, and is heavily involved in the West O Chamber.

Welcome to Rotary, Amy!
