Recently, Mitch Hunt introduced the newest Rotarian Kevin Baitey. Kevin Baitey is an architectural designer at Carlson West Povondra Architects. His interest in architecture stemmed from a desire to combine his passion for creativity with his affinity for problem-solving. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with his Master of Architecture degree in 2018, Kevin has been steadily involved in various organizations to advocate for young professionals and community outreach.

Kevin Baitey received his Rotary membership certificate from President Aileen Warren with his Rotary sponsor Mitch Hunt

He currently holds a number of positions within the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the architecture industry’s leading professional organization that advocates for the value of architecture in service to society. Kevin serves on the AIA Nebraska Board of Directors as well as the AIA Omaha Board of Directors in addition to maintaining involvement at a regional level. He also Chairs the AIA Nebraska Emerging Professionals Committee where he focuses on developing and implementing programs geared toward young professionals and students. Kevin’s passion for outreach also extends to his community where he currently serves as a mentor at Benson High School as part of his involvement with the ACE Mentor Program of America. When he’s not at work, he enjoys photography, art, and a good movie.
