We are thrilled to welcome Gretchen Harvey as the new President of the Rotary Club of Omaha for the 2025–2026 Rotary year. Gretchen brings a deep well of professional experience, community spirit, and a warm dedication to service that will guide our club into an exciting new chapter.

Born in Casper, Wyoming, Gretchen pursued higher education with determination and purpose. She earned her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in 1980, followed by a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 1987. She went on to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable John Grant at the Nebraska Supreme Court from 1987 to 1988, gaining invaluable insight into the judicial system.

Gretchen spent nearly a decade as an associate at Nolan, Olson & Stryker, building a strong reputation for her legal expertise and professional integrity. Today, she continues to serve her community as the Nebraska Representative for the Society of Mayflower Descendants, helping preserve and honor the legacy of early American history.

Beyond her impressive professional accomplishments, Gretchen cherishes time with her beloved family. She and her husband Past Rotary President Bill Harvey are proud parents to Kaitlin (and her husband Matt) and Robert (and his wonderful wife Molly), and beaming grandparents to their sweet grandson Hudson.

As she steps into her role as Club President, Gretchen brings not only a wealth of experience but also a spirit of gratitude, warmth, and dedication. “So blessed!” she says of her life journey, a sentiment we know will resonate throughout her year of leadership.

Please join us in congratulating President Gretchen Harvey and supporting her in a year that promises meaningful service, deeper connections, and Rotary fellowship at its finest.
