My son, Marc and the dance team from Mary Lorraine’s Dance Center competed for the first time at Leap Dance Competition in Council Bluffs this past weekend. He is pictured here with the senior level dance combo as they took stage. They received a 5 star rating (highest given) and a special choreography award for their number. He also received a 4.5 star rating on his solo and a special judges award for his “cool confidence” on stage. Proud mama moment for sure! And a return to “normal” life of a busy teen.

Our Translational Hearing Center has just received a large grant from NIH (National Institute of Health) of $11 million for 5 years. This is the first such a “center of excellence” grant for Creighton and solidifies our leading position in the nation on drug development for hearing loss.
