TONY VARGASTony Vargas has devoted his career to public service and advocacy. He began his career as a middle school science teacher and then went on to serve on the Omaha Public Schools Board. Since 2016, he has served District 7, the communities of Downtown and South Omaha, in the Nebraska Legislature. Now, he is running for Congress in Nebraska's Second Congressional District, which includes Douglas and Saunders Counties and part of Sarpy County.
