The Scottish Rite building is 102 years old, completed in 1914. The Scottish Rite Masonic Center has one of the nicest theaters in the City of Omaha, seating nearly 400. The walls feature art from the Omaha Club, which closed at the end of 1999. The ballroom seats nearly 300, with room for an additional 80 in an adjacent dining room. Outside, you will enjoy a well-maintained courtyard with a small fountain and artwork by local artist Charles V. Fisher, representing the tenets of Freemasonry. On the west side, we had commissioned artwork by Bulgarian native Ivo Koytchev, a landscaped garden and benches.
The Scottish Rite operates an adjacent parking garage, which can be accessed off 20th Street through the alley on the south side of the building.
