  1. GG #2011733; Development of Freda Carr Hospital, Uganda. Refurbishment of two Staff Houses, the floor of the outpatients department and Mechanical and Electrical installations in the private wing of the maternity ward at Ngora Freda Carr Hospital. The grant was successfully completed, and the report will be submitted in a few weeks to The Rotary Foundation.
 
  1. Mission Green: The Club adopted St. Joseph’s seminary Nyenga, in Buikwe district. A fruit Orchard was planted there and over 25,000 thousand trees have so far been planted. An irrigation system was set up to water the trees and the  trees are well maintained. The seminary still has vast land that the club will continue creating time to go and green.
  2. Global Grant #GG 2240464, Model Districts for Maternal and Child Health in Uganda, in Districts in and surrounding Kampala and throughout, Uganda, the “Rotary Grant.” 
  • To increase the number of women receiving antenatal care and the frequency of their visits to partner health centers
  • To reduce the maternal and neonatal mortality rates vs. Uganda national average by 30% among targeted communities by June 2024
  • To increase the number of clinicians trained in WHO’s Essential Neonatal Care (ENC) disciplines by June 2024
  • To increase community awareness of MCH friendly services and improve referral to existing health services
 
  1. GG2343311: Bannabikira Kyengera Women's Medical Centre Project.
            The project will:-
  • Improve prenatal diagnostic capabilities in the pre-urban communities and for better nutrition for expectant mothers.
  • Equip the theatre to enable the community of nurses from Bannabikira to provide operations for complicated cases from the community.
  • Provision of Community Public Health Training to health officers in the catchment area.
 
  1. Kibira kya Kabaka. The club is partnering with Buganda Kingdom to develop  a park with a variety of trees. This is aimed at advancing the green agenda.
 
  1. Run for the Nile; This is in partnership with Promote Uganda and Ministry of Water and environment to raise funds to plant trees along River Nile and save L. Victoria from Pollution. This is planned to be an annual event.
