Fly In/Drive In Breakfast

The 15th Annual Humboldt Rotary Club Fly In/Drive In Breakfast was held the first Sunday in August, 2015.  Approximately 952 breakfasts were served with 30 planes in attendance.  Gronbach's Grill Team cooked scrambled eggs and sausage and also cooked and served pancakes hot off the grill.  The Humboldt Rotary Club members served the eggs and sausage along with orange juice, milk and coffee.  Pilots Dave Dodgen, Doug Bacon, Lou Fontana, John Boleyn and Brian Skow combined to provide 124 plane rides.  Picnic tables were set up in the new hangar where the EC Source helicopter was on display.  A video of the helicopter in use was also available to view.  This year's profits will be used to assist the Humboldt Fire Department in purchasing turn out gear.
