Brook Hjelmeland is the daughter of Ron and Jodi Hjelmeland.  She is active in Student Senate, Interact Club, HHS Yearbook, Spanish Club, Individual and Large Group Speech, National Honor Society, and the JOBS Program.  She has also organized several blood drives for Life Serve Blood Center.  In addition to her school activities, Brook has worked at Hy-Vee in Humboldt.  Her future plans are to obtain a degree in either elementary education or business.  She is undecided on where to pursue her college degree.
 
November
Meg Grice is the daughter of Jon and Teresa Grice.  Some of the activities she has been involved in include band, jazz band, chorus, jazz choir, large group and individual speech, fall musical and spring play, National Honor Society, and Battle of the Books.  She has also helped as a TAB at the Humboldt Public Library.  Currently Meg is working at the Humboldt Hy-Vee as either a checker or in the produce department.  Previously she was a lifeguard at the Humboldt Family Aquatic Center.  Meg's future plans are to attend Iowa State University and major in Public Relations and possibly minor in International Studies and Business.

Rachel Darling is the daughter of Greg and Sandi Darling.  Her activities include volleyball, basketball, track, softball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Rotary Interact Club, musical, the church youth group and the church bell choir.  In her "spare" time she works at the Humboldt North and South Care Centers as a CNA.  She has also been a lifeguard at the Humboldt Family Aquatic Center.  Her future plans are to attend a four year university and major in pre-med and minor in Spanish.
 
September
Abigail Collins is the daughter of Carol and Joel Collins.  She is involved in golf, student senate, Rotary Interact Club, National Honor Society, 4-H, Battle of the Books and church activities.  She has worked at Hy-Vee, as a lifeguard at the Humboldt Aquatic Center and various babysitting jobs.  She also has four sisters.  Abigail's future plans are undecided at the present time, but she is leaning toward attending ICCC for two years before transferring to a university.  Her current interests are veterinary medicine, nursing, social work and education.
