Community Foundation Grant 2014

The Humboldt Rotary Club was awarded a $10,000 Humboldt Community Foundation Grant for our Rotary Field Project. This project includes upgrading the backstop and installing an irrigation system at Taft Park. These efforts were led by Ross Sleiter, Clifton Kalafatich, Aaron Burnett and Corey Matson. Work should begin this spring in cooperation with the Humboldt Parks Department. Plans are to have Rotary Field ready this summer for the 2014 Junior High baseball team to practice and play their conference and tournament games. Accepting the grant is President Corey Matson with Melody Larson, Humboldt County Community Foundation representative. Great job!
