It's that time of year again - bed racing time. 
 
Rotary has been racing a bed down Cottage Street for a few years. We have yet to win fastest bed, but last year we did nab the Best Decorated honors! 
 
We need Rotarians to: 
 
1. Run the race. We need a total of four races, and one person to ride on Nov. 12.
2. Decorate the bed. We need ideas and an hour or so of your time on Nov. 10 to decorate the bed. 
 
Further details: 
  • The race is the morning of November 12. Beds need to be in position around the village green in Bar Harbor around 9:30. The race begins at 10:15. 
  • If we magically have more than four people sign up to race, we will do a lottery for the runners. Or rock-paper-scissors. We'll do something. 
  • For the decorating, this will occur around 5 p.m. at 69 School Street in Bar Harbor. Please let us know if you are helping. Please help.
