Rotary Scholar
Since 1992 the club has awarded scholarships to students who wish to continue their studies past high school. Applications which must include how the student engaged in service to his/her community are reviewed by a sub-committee of club members and approved by the board of directors. The recipients of our scholarships have proven the most outstanding examples of the Rotary motto, "Service Above Self." Young people who have benefited from these scholarships are listed below. All were MDI residents unless otherwise indicated.
