The Business of Reading is coming up the week of October 22-26 at Conners Emerson school. Our club has been a big supporter of this effort in the past. This program seeks to strengthen Rotary club leadership through quality, engaging education in both leadership skills and Rotary knowledge. The $75 registration fee, which includes breakfast and lunch, will be paid by the club for anyone who wants to go. I plan to attend to complete the program and would be happy to drive someone else with me. Please contact me for more information.

Suicide Prevention Training Class
Nov. 10- 9am-4pm This is the  Suicide Prevention course that our International District Governor, Serge Poulin, discussed at his recent visit to our clubs.  Several members of our club were quick -even anxious- to become part of this important program.  Nine Members signed up immediately without having a date.  Now the class has been set for Saturday November 10 from 9am-4pm at Wellman Commons in Bangor ( 300 Union Street) .  It  has  been developed especially for for our district Rotary Members in Maine and Canada.  (Lunch plans will be determined by our club president) Please email or call  the coordinator at the address below about your attendance to this event, including your name and club information in your response.
