Parking at BBV
From Sharon Linscott:
A little over a month ago, I had a Birch Bay resident, along with a visually impaired resident passenger, come to me after not being able to find a parking space on a Rotary day. At the next meeting I stood up to request that Rotarians leave several spaces for residents. This past Thursday I was approached by the same resident who came back on Wednesday, again with the visually impaired resident, to find no parking spaces available. I must now ask that all Rotarians park beyond the purple pole that has the sign "Resident Parking Only". I am hoping that this works because our residents have the right, as this is their home, to come back and find spaces available. And I appeal to the 4 way test for all Rotarians to do what is right in this instance. If this continues to be an issue however, I will then have to ask Rotarians to park on the perimeter only.
