STAR Rotary Club is the First Turkish - American Rotary Club in the U.S.A.
- chartered in June 2009 with 30 members under the group of Ten Officers and Board Members
- founded by Mr. Yavuz Atila who is a long term volunteer at TAAC and the member of Rotary Club of Monterey
- named by Charter Member Mr. Cuneyt Kayali

Members of Star Rotary, prospective members, any and all interested guests who want to get to know us and/or willing to share their valuable knowledge, experience and time for helping humanity
MEMBERSHIP
Our Membership is open to every creed and background. There are no religious or other tests. Rotary asks every Rotarian to include in his or her ethical toolkit the Rotary 4-Way Test: Of the things we think, say or do
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

HOW DO WE FINANCE OUR CLUB
The Rotary club of Silicon Valley STAR is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and others who share our vision of a better world.
Our other source of funding is Fundraising events which determined, planned and chaired by Club members.
Per STAR Rotary Club by laws ,We use 40% of club fund on Local Projects and 60% of club fund on approved projects in Turkey.
We invite you to join our Club to help us provide more service in the local communities and abroad.
