Solar Power Installed at Ugandan Schools

OKC Midtown Rotary has partnered with All We Are and other Rotary clubs in NC, OH, FL, and KY. Raleigh Midtown Rotary Club in NC received a district grant to help fund Solarize Uganda Now (SUN), a program through All We Are, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing sustainable overseas development programs. Through these partnerships, OKC Midtown Rotary Club helped fund four solar power installations at four different schools in Uganda. Installation concluded on 12/01 and has impacted 2,500+ students and teachers. This installation will save schools funds, improve consistency in lighting, and students will be able to continue their studies after dark.
